Have a Heart Animal Rescue is proud to be part of
the www.facebook.com/ALTornadoAnimals page. Our goal is to help reunite as many animals that are lost & found in Alabama. With the recent Tornadoes we ask you help us by donating for the care of the animals that are victims of the tornadoes.
ALL funds raised will go directly to their care and for no overhead for the organization itself since we are all volunteers.

Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. We are a small local animal rescue group. We function soley on donations and volunteer foster homes. We post our animals on a virtual kennel and set up appointments with foster homes to meet the animals. We do not have a facility. We are primarily cats and kittens but do have a few dogs in our rescue. 
 
We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

Have a Heart is not a shelter.
We are primarily a cat/kitten rescue with a virtual(kennel) rescue adoption site for posting our rescued animals. WE HAVE LIMITED foster homes. WHICH ARE ALL CURRENTLY FULL. When our foster homes are full, we can help by sending out e-mails to attempt help find homes for them. We do not guarantee anything when we send out emails to the rescue network.You must be 21 to adopt an animal from Have a Heart. 

If looking for an animal to adopt and we do not have what you are looking for, please email us. We have a network of friends with other local rescue groups that we work with and they may have the perfect pet for you.

Have a Heart is a responsible registered 501c3 rescue. We provide loving foster homes and proper vetting for all of our rescues. We can provide personal references and veterinary references if needed or requested. All animals are in approved foster homes. All animals are current on vaccinations, been combo tested, dewormed, given monthly flea preventative and treated for any sickness until well. We feed the highest quality, grain free diet.
